I first shared this video five years ago when I was somewhat active on social media. Far less active today, the video popped up as a ‘memory’ yesterday. I was compelled to share it again.
In recent weeks, Mrs. tVM reports that grocery shelves are not stocked as we have become used to seeing them in our lifetimes. This morning, she told me there was no coffee creamer. I told her I will drink my coffee black and what is left in the fridge will last her for a week. I immediately thought of this video again.
As I rode my bicycle by the gas station this morning, I noted that the price of gas was up to $4.25. One of the water hoses on the farm sprung a leak this morning. I just replaced one of the six I rely on just yesterday. Netflix froze on us yesterday as we watched the Dolly Parton 2019 documentary. I hate when the price of gas increases… I hate when I am down to five hoses to water vegetables… I hate when Netflix freezes… I hate when we’re out of creamer… I hate when…
As I sat in my chair and steamed, I thought of the water situation with the kids in our Barefoot School. I was immediately humbled.
Man, I have much to be grateful for. I decided to watch this video again. I hope you do too.

You always remind me to try to be a better man ! Thanks.
Thanks, Chris. I hope this short post encourages more people to appreciate all that they have and take less for granted. We have it within ourselves to make the world a better place to be.
