A House Filled with Laughter

Is there anything better than laughter?  I think not.  Our house has been filled with smiles and laughter in recent days.

Daughter Stef is in town for a short visit.

Brad, Felicia, and Elek came over Sunday, and yesterday evening, Brad returned with Xylia, Lyla, and Elek to share more time with Auntie Stef.

The days were characterized by uncontrollable laughter.  I turned to Mrs. tVM at one point last night and whispered beneath the belly laughs, “Isn’t it great to hear the house filled with laughter?”  She agreed.

“Laughter is contagious and there is nothing more attractive than a smiling woman or a laughing child.”

  1. I was laughing with you on this one, Gene. It is great to hear laughter in the house. Sometimes I have thought that things are so bad in the world that the best way to combat the pessimism is to laugh. Proverbs 15:13 came to mind: “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.”
